courtesy of priscilla... If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don’t speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. When you’re finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I remember. . .
sitting outside the church the day you got married
going to the mc escher exhibit in dc and tramping around in the rain
roadtripping to ryan schrock's wedding
making kites in physics class--was kevin's the only one that flew?
countless rides to church--remember when we also went over the bridge that crosses the toll road
it was blustery and bright in front of the taft as we all headed in for a christmas show one year. you were walking up with fred. somehow names were revealed and i was happy to have met you.
I remember...
planning our dude ranch that we would run "when we grow up"
playing boxcar children in the woods and creek behind our house
sleeping over at your house and both of us reading silently for hours on end
several unfortunate crushes (yours) that i had the privilege of talking you through/out of
typing papers in your dorm room on your mac at all hours of the morning due to my procrastination
missing you when you were in India and would send back infrequent but poignant emails
the feeling of kindred spiritness every time we have a chance to reconnect

We had the oddest, faux-dating relationship ever. I'm seriously glad that it never worked out, but I'm DEFINITELY happy for you and your future and all that you are. Wow, talk about a weird relationship, though. I remember a lot of things about you, and I think about you and your journey often.
i remember hanging out with you in seattle, drinking wine and being amused at how much you seemed to like me though we'd just met. and how we bonded so much that i came to visit you in india. i remember you driving me out to boston and back, and convincing james to come with us.
i remember many things i'm not thinking of now, but i love you.
annonymous faux-dater, i'm racking my brain trying to figure out who you are (i have a couple of ideas?), but could you identify yourself? i miss old friends.
I remember...
1) The first of many rides to church when we talked about the logo on the truck in front of us.
2) Waiting in line for MWS tickets with you and some boy named Zach that you liked and I didn't.
3) Spending a couple very therapeutic days with you in Cinci after the big break-up of my life.
4) Having you listen in on the phone while I talked to Carmela in high school.
5) You getting mad when I made fun of the way you threw a snowball when we went sledding at the golf course near Kevin's.
6) When you and Daniel stayed with me last summer.
7) Your wedding, and those wonderful Indian foods at the reception. (-:
Later, chica,

i remember your mennonite, long-haired self coming in my door for a house church meeting. watching you morph into a short-haired wild girl and then back. we didn't hang out as much as i would have liked but i have great memories of the times that we did!!
